  1. I like books that way. I read like a drunk – seriously, I thought that this morning! I just can not resist reading a bit more and a bit more. How strange . . . and here is your post. Are you reading my mind (daily)??

  2. I too am a book fiend…..someone brought me a Kindle, but nothing beats the look, feel, smell of a real live book. Even though I have hundreds in my book cases at home, I still can,t resist buying another one if I pass a second hand bookstore!

    • A book is a beautiful thing. I like the thought (when I look at a book) that everything is in there.. . the story, the other world and the authors ideas. It is all just sitting there every day inside the book – just like magic!

      • I like maps in books too (what a surprise)! I am reading the book “Waterland” by Graham Swift. It is set in the Fens in England . Very good but I wish it had a map!

      • We are much alike. I even used to love the maps of natural resources in grade school textbooks with all the little symbols.

I’m reading a great book written by a woman in the 1950’s about women’s magazines and the horrible role she thought they played in ruining women. It’s a funny book (I don’t think it’s always meant to be though).
