I’m fascinated by the concentration of inspiration and free-thinking that was happening near Concord when Louisa May Alcott was a young woman. Quite an amazing experience I would think. I think it’s time for me to reread Little Women.
I enjoyed Little Women and would have been one of the many little girls wanting to see Jo marry Laurie, but my favorite two Alcott books were Eight Cousins and Rose in Bloom. My mother read them to us and cried at the sad parts. It left an impression on me.

Louisa’s brand of feminism appeals to me.
Have a great weekend, Jackie!
