So nice for you to share the information on how Thanksgiving was so intertwined with the Civil War. Too bad the holiday has been diminished by the growth of Halloween and the rush to Xmas. Time to restart a movement to bring back the importance of Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. Unlike Christmas there’s not much to it but a meal. No disappointing gifts and mad dashes for that one last thing to even up the presents between children.
