Wishing you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON! I’ll be trying to keep the cowboys from too much trouble during the next week so I may not be at the computer that much, but will be back full time in the new year.
Love and blessings to you all~
Adrienne
PS~I hope Santa sends me a horse!

It’s a long shot, but you never know. I also sent my husband a picture of a long haired chihuahua puppy, but he thought our huge white dog would eat it for supper. I think they yap don’t they?
I hope you have a great Christmas, Eric!

Are you going to be rustling up some grub?

Course. My family likes a mess of crazy junk food. I suggest a good meal each year, but they want the “tradition of junk.” They get me with tradition. 🙂
We can have nice meals on all the other days of the year! (And it’s actually less work for me).
Have a great Christmas!

stir up the campfire, throw on a pot of coffee and a bucket of beans 🙂 Merry Christmas and an even better New Year!

The cowboys I know hate beans, but like cookies–and a good steak. All the best, Shawn.

Have you been naughty or nice this year? A horse is a pretty big investment. Santa only gives them out to people who have been really really nice during the year. Perhaps you should set your sights for something smaller like a hamster :-).

Hey, you! A hamster?! I’ve been pretty damn great this year–in comparison to past drama years–ask my husband! haha. I think a cast off puppy is in order 🙂
How did you end up in PA? I hope you don’t have to commute on rt 80!
Merry Christmas, my wise-talkin’ Jersey sister.

Relative goodness doesn’t count with Santa. Absolute goodness is the measure. I am your Jersey brother and to get to where I live today you start in North Bergen and go south to Philadelphia. Then you go north to NYC and then further north to Long Island and then south to Mays Landing NJ and then north to Kendall Park NJ and then south to Wilmington Delaware and then finally north to Yardley PA on the Delaware River across from Trenton. But I regained my Jersey routes by buying a second house outside Avalon NJ. No commute for me. I work from home.

How did I not pick up on the fact that you’re a brother not a sister? Guess I assumed that since you like cavs . . . my husband pretends not to like them 🙂
Don’t you love working from home?

A bit sexist there. Can’t believe a man would love a cute sweet little dog like a cav. We all don’t go walking around with pit bulls etc.
Yes I do love working from home. Some people need the social interaction of the work place to be happy. I am not one of them.

Me neither. I embrace the hermit side of myself.
That was pretty sexist of me–I’m guilty (especially since I know my husband actually loves when our Tricolor Cav cuddles up to him 🙂
I should have guessed you were a guy by the way you write (kidding). Have a great holiday!

Merry Christmas to you, too. You may have interest in two cousins named Edward and Elias Hicks. The were Quaker abolitionists from the Civil War era. Quakers are very anti-war but abolitionists incited the war, Edward was an artist and may have sensed these competing causes. Elias was as noble as you will find, but his noble cause may have led to war and made the racial tensions we have today – worse. Sorry if it is sad, but they make interesting characters.

I don’t mind sad. It’s part of the human condition. Thanks for the lead. I will certainly check it out 🙂 Merry Christmas. Hope your novel is going well!
