    1. Yes, eyes are always a little creepy. People are very resilient. I think that’s what I like best about this collection of photos.

  3. Amazing. In the fullness of time, I imagine these sorts of handicaps won’t even be debilitating. Probably not in my time though!

    1. I think the world is set up so there will always be disabilities of one kind or another–no one has managed to cure the disability of a cold heart. 🙂

  4. Fascinating stuff. Didn’t find the eyes creepy. It interesting to see the progression of prosthetics. There will come a time when we won’t be able to tell until they are removed.

    1. I don’t have a prosthetic, but I do have these big screws in my right forearm after a bad break. Because I’m on the skinny side you can see them right through my skin when I bend my arm. My daughter is really grossed out by it but I think it’s kinda cool.
