Two sides of every coin. I adore Carravagio’s work – such a master but maybe not such a very nice man. He was conflicted and flawed- like most of us. Keller got it right and with poignancy.
I think that’s one of the reasons I love him as an artist. He understood the human condition by experience. 😉
Tim Keller says really brilliant things about God and humanity. There’s a sermon he published into a tiny book called The Freedom of Self-Forgetfulness that really gets me every time I revisit it. He always makes me think.
