Right now everyone is doing the last of their haying so it’s quite bustling — and beautiful. Nature and animals make me so grateful even in hardship. 🙂
They have their contemplative moments. We only have one goat here now and he’s definitely an old soul. “Matt” is stuck being our ram’s friend but I take him out for time to be away from the sheep to be pampered.

I think it’s because they originally came from Africa and the ears served them in the heat.
